This challenge encourages students to read over 50 books in one academic year. The initiative was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
Students can register for the challenge at school.
Participants then receive a ‘Red Passport,’ so they can start keeping a record of the first ten books they read on the challenge.
One visa page can be used per book summary. Students should include the book’s title, author, number of pages and its publisher.
Once the Red Passport is complete, participants receive the ‘Green Passport’ and repeat the process for another 10 books.
The students continue moving through the Blue and Silver Passports in the same way before reaching the celebrated Golden Passport. Once all five passports are completed, the students will have read a total of 50 books.
