Build, Test, Learn, Reflect: Experiential Learning at Home

Discover science through engaging experiential activities that you can do at home using easily available materials.

Experiential learning is a fun and engaging way to learn about the scientific theories you read about in your textbooks.

  • Have you ever played a board game which explains photosynthesis and cellular respiration? Do you know how to measure the density of an object? Take the first step towards becoming a scientist and discover the real-word applications of these scientific theories.
  • For each lesson, review the list of materials required. Most of the items should be available at home or should be easy and inexpensive to buy at local hardware stores, supermarkets, or at online retailers.
  • Download and print the instructions and worksheets from our website link.
  • Some lessons require adult supervision, as mentioned in the instructions.
