Physical education & Wellbeing

Overview

Internal Landscapes is a playful two-hour movement workshop that takes participants through a series of embodiment practices in order to create somatic awareness and deepen their relationship with the present and past self. The session is taught by performance artist Sarah Brahim.

  • Open to participants of all experience levels, this workshop is for those who are curious about how process memory and past experiences through movement.
  • This workshop presents performance and movement as healing practices that can help us translate embedded memory into embodied expression.
  • The session builds on contemporary performance tools such as visualizations, scores, breathwork, somatic based tasks, and research from Brahim’s practice to discover how the body can be a personal and communal site for transformation.
